Sorry for the dearth of updates in recent weeks.
Yesterday, Little Wheels and Mrs Wheels set off for a long weekend at her parents in Devon. After waving them off, I sat down for a ten-minute powernap… and woke up 15 hours later. Turns out that being a parent can be really tiring. Who knew?
You being refreshed now, there is an expectation of the review of beers in Devon. There couldn’t be a better excuse to get you down to the pubs. Your readers are glad to help where we can.

Paul, I’m hoping to get outside a Westvleteren in the next few days – don’t know when i’ll be in a pub again though!
NOTHING can prepare you for the emotional and physical demands of parenting – although women are, genetically speaking, somewhat better prepared! You will get huge guilt feelings too as, from time to time, that unworthy thought, “I wish I could get away from all this!” crosses your mind. Don’t worry – it will pass. And from personal experience, I can tell you that the first 34 years are the worst. Then it gets better……..I hope.
Yes indeed, Affer – Mrs TIW is already several dozen percentiles better at it than I am, even though until three weeks ago neither of us had ever held a baby!
