Art Of Glass

1962 was a bad year for London architecture, seeing off both the Euston Arch and the lesser-known Coal Exchange on Lower Thames Street. The charmless concrete and glass cube that replaced the Exchange is where I saw this bit of whimsy, drawn with a finger into the window grime. Whoever the artist was, they’ve got a new canvas every time it rains.
